The beach at Quiaios/Figueira da Foz is by far quieter than the beaches in the south of Portugal. The best time for a wedding ceremony is still the morning between 10.30 and 12 o clock, which also when it is less windy. The ceremony is held at the end of the wooden foot path, so you do not need to walk on the sand, making it accessible for high heels.
